Woodlets recycling policy:

Our plastic is easy to recycle and has a lower carbon footprint than a lot of paper packaging. We use wrapping that is made from 30% recycled plastic. By recycling recycled plastic we can give it anew life. What we want - and need - is to avoid producing more plastic waste. We can help stop that...It’s not about the amount of plastic we use; but rather what we do with it once it’s done its job. Plastic is perfect for recycling. Woodlets Heat Logs are packaged using recyclable LDPE04 plastic (Low Density Polythene). We are trialling ‘paper’ alternatives but until a waterproof paper can be found that isn’t a mix of polymers and wiched with paper (unrecyclable in the UK), Woodlets prefers the idea of recycled plastic. This allows us to keep costs down, while giving us the satisfaction that we’re removing a certain tonnage of plastic from the environment to turn into our wrapping. Ultimately, we want to demonstrate to customers that we are a business which is dead serious about sustainability.
