Delivery
We offer a number of different delivery options:
Local delivery
For orders over £75 there is local delivery service to Inverness, Aviemore, Boat of Garten, Carrbridge, Dulnain Bridge, Nethy Bridge, Grantown, Moy & Daviot. These orders will be added to next convenient firewood delivery to that area, normally delivered with 1 week (In run up to Xmas it can take slightly longer).

Larger loads (over 2m3) are delivered within 20 miles and are normally delivered within 1 week. These orders do not necessarily need anything else tagged along with them for delivery to take place, so if you have specific delivery date/s and time in mind, these larger loads are often the better option.

Once the order has been placed either via email or the website checkout, we will then book the order in giving customers a proposed delivery date and time. This is on the invoice email which is sent to you. If for any reason the delivery appointment does not suit please let us know as soon as possible.
We normally calculate the driving distance with Googlemaps. Deliveries over 20 miles normally incur a charge of £3 per return mile (including vat) and we will normally deliver up to 35 miles. If your delivery address falls into this category you can either let us know via email when ordering or we will work this out when processing your order from the website. If unsure please do not hesitate to get in touch!
We deliver locally with either pickup and tipping trailer, or with the tilt-bed trailer for pallets (please note an order for a pallet product and a tipping load firewood order would normally be delivered in 2 deliveries).
M&H delivery (pallets only)
For deliveries that are further afield there is the M&H delivery option. Delivery once order has been processed will normally take 1-3 business days (may take longer out with Scotland).
Please note M & H deliveries are normally made by M&H lorry so will need a hard level surface off load pallet onto, or closest kerbside. If unsure please query. The M&H lorry is normally 7.5T. It is the customer's responsibility to advise when making any enquiry or order if there any access restrictions which could cause problems for safe delivery. If lorry cannot make delivery due to access not being safe or suitable, the customer could be charged for the costs in making the attempted delivery and for the return of the pallet to depot.
IV, KW, AB, DD and PH postcodes price included in M&H delivery price option.
Please note there is additional £10 shipping cost per pallet to the following Scottish postcode areas: DG, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PA, TD.
There is a further £10 shipping cost to English and Welsh postcodes.
For offshore deliveries please ask for quotations and we will see what we can do. There is a Skye Express option.
Collection
Customers can also collect products from Tomatin Firewood and normally there is a small discount for collected option.
It is recommended to contact us in advance to let us know what you plan to collect. We can confirm item availability and then ensure whoever is on site is aware that you are coming.
Upon arrival please draw attention of staff member who will then assist you with your collection order.

Please be aware that is a working yard and that there is machinery in operation and to take extra care around any potential hazards such as telehandlers moving in and out of sheds and to keep well clear of the processing plant when it is in operation.
