Firewood - Delivered free within 20 miles and inc Domestic VAT

Tipping loads:

Firewood delivered in a tipping trailer (see picture below) in loose volume, calculated in cubic meters (m³). At the delivery address the firewood is generally tipped out so if you have a gravel drive putting down a sheet or tarpaulin is recommended. Unless stated otherwise, the moisture content average will be under 25%. 

 Softwood (suitable for stoves)

Cut to around 25cm (Just under 10 inches):
  • 1m³ load  - £70 (tagged to next delivery in area)
  • 2m³ load  - £130
  • 3m³ load - £180
  • 4m³ load - £220
Cut to around 20cm (Just under 8 inches)
  • 1m³ load - £80 (tagged to next delivery in area)
  • 2m³ load - £140

Cut to around 50cm (Just under 20 inches):
  • 4.5m³ load - £200
  • (Generally this load will be loaded up to 4.5m³ to account for larger gaps created by bigger logs- these logs tend to be quite chunky as they are intended for biomass boilers)

Mixed Loads

     Mixed load is made up of 50% birch hardwood and 50% softwood



Cut to around 20cm (Just under 8 inches)

  • 2m³ load  (1m³ soft and 1m³ hard)- £175

Netbag firewood

Perfect when no space for larger tipping loads, idealfor holiday lets or for shops (shop pricing available on request)

Dry Softwood firewood

In 60 x 45cm net bags, firewood cut to around 20cm (Just under 8 inches)

Kiln dried ash firewood

In 60 x 45cm net bags, around 14.5kg, firewood cut to around 25cm (Just under 10 inches)

Palletised Loads - No need to stack 

Each pallet holds 1.6m³ of loose firewood wrapped in an air-permeable mesh for optimum drying which is delivered to customer address using a rough terrain pallet truck. The braked pallet truck is almost 5ft wide and is wheeled off the back of a tilt-bed trailer. Once off the trailer the pallet of firewood can only be wheeled on solid ground, on level surfaces or slight downhill gradients, please ask if unsure!

As well as local delivery we are now offering 1-2 business daydelivery through M&H carriers to much off the Highland and Islands!

Kiln Dried Ash stacked pallet - 1.17m³

(Equivalent to around 1.8m³ loose firewood)

Ash firewood, moisture content below 20%, stacked neatly into wooden crates. Dimensions 1.15m wide x 0.85m breadth x 1.20m height. Weight around 450kg.

Delivery - please note these pallets are heavy and can only be moved on solid ground on level surfaces once they have been taken off the tiltbed trailer and the pallet truck is 5ft wide (around 1.5m) - please query if unsure.

M & H delivery will need a level surface once pallet off loaded or kerbside delivery. If unsure please query.
